Chipper Knife is an AOD melted air hardened tool steel with above average wear resistance and toughness. This alloy has improved wear resistance than S7 and improved toughness as compared to D2. These properties lend themselves well to wood chipper knive applications, which is where this Chipper Knife got it’s name.
